I’m back in my pre-pregnancy jeans! I don’t know if most women find this satisfying primarily because of a body-image thing, but personally, when compared with the satisfaction of not having to buy a new round of clothes, I’m about 30-70 in favor of the latter.

It is un-natural how quickly that happened. You should be ashamed!Ok fine, not really. I’m just a little bitter. I only got back into my prebaby jeans a couple months ago….my little one will be 9 months in a week…..
Don’t be too bitter–I still have a significant muffin-top issue to deal with, and it’s really only the roomier jeans that are an option for me now. I imagine it’ll still take some months and many miles to get back to where I was immediately before I got pregnant. God knows when I’ll have the time or energy to get back to running regularly…
Congratulations! I think it took me until at least 6 weeks to hit my roomiest pair. And then I started not eating dairy because C was allergic to it and went the other way where my old jeans were falling off. And now, I’m back to whoa, I need to slow down on the ice cream because apparently breastfeeding really does burn 500 extra calories a day. The pendulum…how it swings.
YAY! I’m like you, knowing you won’t have to buy new clothes is the greatest satisfaction. Just don’t do what I’ve done in the past few months – gain back several of the pounds from the nursing induced weight loss extravaganza when you eventually wean Nuala. My body doesn’t understand I can’t eat like a horse anymore without gaining weight.
i hate you just a little bit.
As long as it’s only a little bit.
Bitch.
(Just kidding. And just wait. Losing the weight from the first baby was easy. It was the second baby that did me in. Ugh.)
Another excellent argument in favor of having only one child!
